We know as well as anyone that it’s not always easy to feel confident, especially in a swimsuit. But it gets a little easier when you see other women doing it! We’ve been loving these blog posts this summer for just that reason – these women are putting on a swimsuit and getting honest about the feelings it brings up, but they’re still doing it. Give one or two of these (or all six) a read when you need a little boost of confidence!
“After all, I want to be the woman who practices what she preaches. I want to be the woman who gets in the water with her kids after she preaches #GetInTheWater.” Read the full post here.
“The bottom line is that everyone deserves to be celebrated. It’s okay to take up space. There is enough room in this world for you to shine and the goodness in people far outweigh our imperfections.” Read the full post here.
“I’m so grateful for a healthy body. As I was there that night, enjoying all the fun, it felt good to be ok with how I looked in a swimsuit without a coverup!” Read the full post here.
“Why was I trying so hard to conceal something that has brought so much good to my life? My body was the vehicle that nurtured, cared and housed my baby boy for an entire nine months. It was a machine and something I should be proud of!” Read the full post here.
“I never want body image or suit options to limit my ability to enjoy the sun mom style.” Read the full post here.
“I am a work in progress. I am overpowering my brain and my way of thinking. I have more appreciation for myself now than I have in years.” Read the full post here.
