Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

At first glance, this might seem to be a book made for nerds and video game lovers, but don’t write it off just yet! You’ll find yourself engulfed in the world of Wade Watts and the imagined future of the year 2045. It’s less a book about technology and games and more a book about learning to accept yourself and taking on the hard parts of life.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle

If you’ve never read this one before, now is the time before you see the movie! Meg’s father disappeared while working on a fifth dimension of time, and now Meg, her brother, and her friend have to set out to rescue him.
