We thought we’d introduce you to one of our talented bloggers who helps keep this blog running. This is Bre, our resident stylist and blogger extraordinaire. You can see some of her previous posts where she expertly styles some of our women’s suits here and here. Read on to learn more about Bre’s favorite music, 2012 style trends and where she would go if she had a time machine.

If you had a time machine where would you go?
The first thing I would do is go back in time and go to every concert I’ve ever wanted to go to. Michael Jackson, The Beatles, REO Speedwagon, Tom Petty, etc. I would go to all the era’s I think I should have been a part of. Especially the 1920’s and the 1940-70’s.

What bands/artist are on your current playlist?
Local Natives, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Bon Iver, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Temper Trap, Ben Howard, Angus and Julia Stone, etc.

Favorite book?
Oh, man. I love reading…this is very difficult. My favorite book series is definitely Harry Potter (don’t make fun). My favorite book…The Great Gatsby. Or Peter Pan.

What were you like as a child?
I’m not exactly sure since I was young and a lot of memories are lost…But I do know this. I was a hopeless romantic (not unlike today); I was always crushing on some boy in my class. I loved playing outside with no shoes. Playing ‘make believe’ was what I did best.

What is your ‘Color Code’?
I love The Color Code. I am a mix; mostly Yellow. My second color is Blue but it is closely followed by White. I have zero Red in me. (If you haven’t read the book do it now, but you can take a free test here.

What would you like to be when you grow up?
When I grow up…more than I already have…I would like to be one of two things (or both if possible), a Fashion Stylist and a Journalist. I love fashion and I love writing.

What inspires you?
So many things…My room is covered in magazine clippings that inspire me. Music inspires me completely. The people around me inspire me.

Favorite 2012 trend?
Hmm. Definitely neon. And flag clothing. And pattern mixing.

What is your favorite line of clothing?
If you were to have asked me this a couple months ago it would have been Free People without any hesitation. I still enjoy Free People a lot but I like mixing their pieces with pieces from J Crew and things like that. Random…but somehow it works. I really enjoy Elizabeth and James and Alexander Wang as well.
