This week, it’s all about the remix. About a million (exaggerating) people put their own spin on Beyonce’s Drunk In Love last weekend. It must have been for Valentine’s day. Anyway, you know your song is huge when Kanye West adds a remix. And on a much smaller scale, you know you’ve made it to some level when people are remixing your music.
You also know you’ve made it when you hear the same song on every radio station. “And we’ll never be royals, It don’t run in our blood.” That’s a song that needs a good remix.
