Today let’s throw it all the way back to 1982. Back when New Wave was all the rage and Squeeze was putting out hits. The song I want to share is Annie Get Your Gun, which is the last single the band put out before breaking up. Lucky for us they got back together. If you’ve ever heard “Cool for Cats” then you’ve heard Squeeze.
Anyway, I love this video. Everything about it is perfect for the era, especially the shadows on everyone but the lead signers face. Or when the camera cuts to the guy on keyboard, and it’s a shot from behind him. Also, how great are those half second close ups on the drums?
